Today is Chap Goh Meh and also the last day of Chinese New Year. Anybody going to throw kams into the river tonight? I wish you won’t because is wasting food and polluting the river. If you don’t want to eat them, give them to people yang nak makan.

Had dim sum at restoran kong mah, sungai buloh as dinner.

His parents gave us ang pows already. It was done before going out again to the temple.So in total now I’ve got more than RM200 ang pow cash! I’m done with putting money into the red packets. This year, I put something extra in the packets. Not money but my namecard. [CNY Eve]

As usual, we went to his eldest aunt’s house near Jusco Bukit Raja. And as usual we had Pizza Hut’s pizzas for lunch; my brunch! The usual happenings lah… nothing much can be done.

 Our naughty nephew who turned 5 years old this year [Chinese Calendar]. He doesn’t look like he’s 5 because he’s so skinny! I’ve seen kids at his age much much meaty and healthier than him. A kid who doesn’t eat will grow skinny. And a kid who only like to eat non proper meal will not have enough nutrient.

The baby needed his dose of milk, cradled to finish up his long drinking session of his milk by an aunt. He took so long to finish that bottle of milk. He’s always taking his own sweet time. I wonder how much air went into his tummy.

After the house visiting, we [we as of his parents, us, his brother & family. and his sister] went to I-City for the 1st time. The place can be considered as a beauty ONLY at night when all the lights are on. Took a few photos using my iPhone while some were taken by my SIL.

 There, we went to see the Reptile Exhibition which is NOT FREE. FIL paid for the entrance fee. There is 1 section that I didn’t see in there AND that is THE SNAKES SECTION. I’m seriously snake phobia and those are real ones. I heard they have ANACONDA there! I actually saw some guys unloading a big and heavy snake into the glass display area from a sack-bag.

 This is Black/Smiling Terrapin aka Kura-kura Dendang Hitam aka Siebenrockiella crassicolis. It can grow up to 20cm and more. It was huge in the tank! It can be found from shallow, densely vegetated waters of Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Java.

 This is Alligator Snapping Turtle aka Macrochelys temminckii. No wonder it looks ugly to me. It can be found at rivers, lakes and bayous of Southeast United States. It has a pink wormlike projection on its tongue to lure food such as fish and frog. Its jaw is a powerful snapping tool so don’t simply put your finger into its mouth!

 This is Malayan Giant Terrapin aka Kura-kura Gergasi aka Orlitia bormeensis that can grow up to 80cm. It eats leaves. It can be found at deep freshwater lakes and rivers in Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Kalimantan. Want some sui yue? Kura-kura ni dah nak pupus.. Thanks to us who eat its meat…

TO SURVIVE, WE CAN BE REALLY CRUEL TO ANY LIVING ANIMALS, HUMANS AND PLANTS. WE ONLY CARE WHEN THEY EXTINCT

 I was poking a fake or a dried turtle? Anyway, it was a big one. This was taken by him using my iPhone. He was having problem taking picture with the phone.

 He wasn’t talking to the turtle but admiring it?

Hopefully I didn’t mixed up all the names and turtles because I really remember which is which!

 This is Pig-snouted River Turtle aka Labi-labi Moncong Babi aka Carretocheyls insculpta that looks like my Sammy’s relative. It grows up to 70 – 75cm and it has the same nose as my Sammy. It can be found at rivers and lagoons of South New Guinea and Northern Australia.

My Boboyue aka Gold Fish went Heaven already and left the 3 lo she yue in the big tank because Sammy is its home. I’m thinking of getting another turtle. Not all turtles/tortoises are ugly.

 It took me so long to take a picture of a raccoon instead of 2 raccoons! They were like playing or fighting with each other, moving here and there, up and down, it was so hard to focus! Finally Mr/Ms Raccoon aka Rakun aka Procyon lotor here is free for picture! It grows between 40 -70cm and feeds on leaves, frog and etc.. Raccoon’s hands are so nimble that they can untie shoelaces, break open clam shells, pickpocket a coin from your pocket, and etc..

 No idea what type is this because no desciption on the glass display.

 Let’s have some tin kai chuk tonight! This is Chinese Bullfrog aka Field Frog, Chinese Edible Frog aka Rana rugulosa that can grow up to 12cm or more. It can be found widespread in China, all the way to Peninsula Malaysia. The flat-lying frog is the one that attracted me to snap their pictures. They feed on pests such as ants. One day, they will extinct due to human consumptions.

 Quick! Is Reunion Dinner time! Here comes the Asian Forest Turtle aka Kura-kura Hutan aka Manouria emys. Whether they are a family or not, they really looked like having reunion dinner. Oklah… it was meal time.. As you can see, they feed on leaves such as lettuce because what they were eating there really look like lettuce and some french beans I guessed. They can be found at India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysian and Indonesia. It’s the largest tortoise in mainland Asia.

 Let’s welcome the world’s 2nd smallest monkey! This is Common Marmoset aka Callitrix jacchus that can grow between 14 – 18cm. What?! Feeds on leaves and ants. It’s commonly found in Brazil.

 The sky wasn’t dark yet when we came out. So we took pictures outside before heading elsewhere.

 Next, we went to the Fun Fair area. LQ and his dad went on a ride while LM can only see them ride because she’s too young and short for any rides. As for us? Picture here and there.

 Ligts are starting up and the sky was getting darker.

Next, we went to the Snow Walk which is NOT FREE too. Basically nothing is free. Most of us were wearing sandals so our feet got cold and numb and red and painful because ice went into our sandals. The ice floor was of course slippery.

 Winter clothes in Malaysia? Yip! and is only in the Snow Walk. The photos are in my SIL’s camera so nothing to see now.

We took photos since arrival until we left the place when we’re done. The kids bought some play stuff home. From 4SQ, I saw Space Walk in the list but I didn’t see any direction board pointing its location. I wonder where is it. Well, it was an experience there but not the type of place that I will go again BUT is still much better than going to Jenjarom.

Now…. what did we eat for dinner? We had our dinner at a Chinese coffeeshop near his parents’ house. There’s no place to eat because mostly are closed on the 1st day.

Whatever happened next is history because i can’t remember anymore…

Woke up and bathed about an hour ago. Energy recharging day!

Had mcd mcflurry cornetto yesterday in the car after we Dabao from the 1 @ petrol station; caltex I think @ Sunway tol. Rm5.30 for the size that I think is expensive but nice.

Done 1 single installation jumper got del problem so mr experts are solving it for me. Luckily streamyx no problem. Is still raining and I’m hungry.

This morning’s streamyx installation customer looked familiar. Maybe service before last time, old place.

Tadi naik tangga takut. Bila turun dah numb sikit and shaky sebab i takut tinggi tapi Kena juga pakai tangga mudah alih customer tu sebab tak cukup tinggi.

Biarpun aku lambat aku akan Cina sedaya upaya untuk siapkan kerja. Biarpun Kalau customer leceh, bising aku tetap akan siap kerja and yan Yan Yan until I leave the place. Customer is always right even though sometimes they are not!

We should treat customer good even if we’re treated badly unless you want to get unnecessary complains. Muka Kena tebal sikit in order to survive!

It’s 1st February 2012 and Happy Federal Territory’s Day! It may be holiday for you but a working day for me. 5 more days to end Chinese New Year; Chap Goh Meh on the last day.

Did 2 jumpers today. But both tak jadi pasang lagi sebab internal wiring not ready so wait for tomorrow. Esok ada pending orders more than new ones. Biarpun federal territory tak kerja, we still work. Orang cuti kita kerja.

Aku constipation lagi. Tak cukup sayur tak cukup fruit tak cukup daging tak cukup air.

Is 11.11pm now and printed chatime voucher is still missing and expires today.

Not much cars on road on ldp today, people still on holiday? Just saw the 1st school bus of the year.

Sleepy! I’m always on lazy sleepy mode I’m blogging in the car using my iPhone while waiting for the driver to come back. He’s in pusat kesihatan dewan bandaraya kuala lumpur doing his work. If you happen to be nearby, beware of zebra mosquitoes…..

Had lunch around 5pm. Subway today special set take-away @ ss2 and ate all the way to kepong and Kota Damansara.

I just ate 2 of 3 siew paos because I was too hungry. Earlier I had some biskut only. 1 load of dirty laundry is done and I’m kinda malas to take them out to dry on the hanger sebab dalam bilik, dryer tak boleh pakai sebab wire plug tak boleh sampai soket dinding and the extension rosak.

Watched Ho Chak! 2012 and mandi + washed hair already. Updated the posts with pictures. Now waiting for him to come back from work so that I can watch the last 2 episodes of Wish and Switch @ Astro On Demand.

By the way… HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!!
