#49: Baked Beer Chicken with Dried Chillies

My weird cooking again..

Ingredients:

  • Chicken whole legs (I have 2)
  • Homemade stock
  • Dried chillies
  • Beer
  • 1 tbsp Dark Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Light Soy sauce

Method:

  1. Clean the chicken legs.
  2. Marinate with homemade stock (can use salt send pepper instead).
  3. Cut dried chillies into smaller pieces (I used about 10).
  4. Pour in beer (I used about half of a big bottle).
  5. Marinate overnight inside a container, in the fridge.
  6. Take out from fridge, add in dark soy sauce k for some color) and light sauce. Mix well.
    • Use a fork to poke some holes on the meat to absorb the marinate.

  7. Put back inside the fridge until time to cook.
  8. Baked at 200°C for 30 minutes or until cooked.

Note:

  1. I scooped some of liquid over the chicken, and spread the chillies on top before putting inside the oven.
  2. The remaining liquid, I kept in a bottle, inside the fridge.
