Q: What is P1 Voice?
P1 Voice is a new service from Packet One Networks Sdn. Bhd. that lets you make and receive calls over P1 W1MAX. To use this
service, you’ll need one of the following devices:

- P1 Gateway
- DV-230 Desktop Modem

Q: How does P1 Voice work?
Subscribe to P1 W1MAX and you will receive the Voice-enabled DV-230 Desktop Modem. Just connect your fixed-line phone to the
voice port with a RJ-11 phone cable to start using the service. For customers with the DS-300 modem, you will need to connect your
modem to the P1 Gateway device.

Q: What numbers can I select for my P1 Voice plan?
You can select any fixed line number for your P1 Voice plan.

Q: When can I start making and receiving calls?
You can start making and receiving calls upon successful installation of the devices and when the phone LED emits a blue coloured light.

Q: Can I make and receive calls using the same number when I travel outside my residence anywhere in the country
within P1 W1MAX coverage with my P1 W1MAX modem (DS-30 and DV-230)?

No, you can’t because P1 Voice is a Fixed Line phone service that is only available at the registered address as per your Registration Form
and is dependent on the P1 W1MAX coverage areas.

Q: Can I make and receive calls while surfing the Internet?
Yes, you can. As long as the LED lights on your P1 W1MAX Modem for LAN and phone are blue you can make calls even while
you surf the Internet.

Q: What plans are available with P1 Voice?
We have 4 plans available for you to choose from. They are:

- Classic Plan (RM25 Monthly Commitment Fee plus Pay-as-you-use)
- P0 (Pay-as-you-use)
- P30 (RM30 Monthly Commitment Fee)
- P50 (RM50 Monthly Commitment Fee)

Q: What are bundled minutes?
Bundled minutes are given permanent FREE minutes for you to utilise before you are charged the Local Fixed rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rate
according to the plan you are subscribed to.

- P0 : FREE RM5 preloaded airtime. Subsequent Local Fixed rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rate : 18 sen/min
- P30 : 200 Bundled minutes. Subsequent Local Fixed rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rate : 15 sen/min
- P50 : 420 Bundled minutes. Subsequent Local Fixed rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rate : 12 sen/min
- Classic Plan : Bundled minutes not available. Various rates applied

Q: What are the calls that will be included in the bundled minutes?
All Local / STD / Mobile calls will be included in the bundled minutes.

Q: What is the default credit limit for the P1 Voice plans?
The default credit limit for all P1 Voice plans is RM100.

Q: How can I increase my credit limit?
You can increase your credit limit by RM300, RM800 or RM1500 on top of your default credit limit.

Q: Do I need to pay any deposit to increase my credit limit?
Yes, you do.

If you are a Malaysian, you need to pay a deposit as per the following:

Q: Will I be notified when I am reaching my credit limit?
Yes, you will. You will be notified via email and SMS once you have reached 60% of your credit limit.

Q: What contracts are available for these plans?
P0, P30 and P50 plans come with a 0-month contract and a minimum stay of 3 months for the 1st 1,000 P30 or P50 customers who
are entitled to the Free Dect Phone. The Classic plan comes with a 12-month contract.

Q: How can I register for these new P1 Voice plans?
Register for our P1 W1MAX service to receive a DV-230 voice-enabled modem and a P0 plan for FREE to start making calls with
zero commitment! You can visit any of our P1 Resellers or P1P@ddock to register for P0 plan.

You can also upgrade to the P30 and P50 0 month contract with a minimum stay of 3 months by walking in to the P1 P@ddock or calling our
P1 Careline at 1300-800-888* for further enquiries and subscription. The 1st 1000 customers will receive a Panasonic DECT Phone for FREE.

Q: What is P0 and what are the call rates like?
P0 is our starter plan and it is the default voice service that you will receive when you register for your P1 W1MAX Broadband service.
It comes with a FREE RM5 preloaded airtime.

After the FREE RM5 preloaded airtime is maximised, the call rate will be 18 sen/min to any network, anytime, nationwide.

Q: Will I be notified when my FREE RM5 preloaded airtime is maximised and charged with the 18 sen/min rate for the subsequent calls?
No, you won’t be notified. But you can check your unbilled CDR (Call Details Record) in your P1 Self care page.

Q: What is the P1 Gateway?
The P1 Gateway is the device that allows you to make and receive calls which you will get for FREE* when you subscribe to the
P1 P30 and/or P50 Voice Plans.

*For subscribers using the DS-300 W1MAX modem

Q: What is the P1 W1MAX Modem DV-230?
The P1 W1MAX Modem DV-230 is the broadband modem that allows you to access the Internet which comes with 1 built-in voice port.

Q: What if I am an existing subscriber with a P1 W1MAX Modem DV-230? Can I use the P0 voice service? How?
Yes, you can. To get the P0 voice service, you may register online at www.p1.com.my or just walk in to the P1 P@ddock
for further enquiries and on-the-spot subscriptions.

Q: What if I am already on P0 and I would like to upgrade to P30 or P50. How and where can I upgrade?

Q: Are IDD calls be included in the bundled minutes given?
No. The IDD calls are not included in the bundled minutes given.

Q: What is the charging block for Fixed Rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rates?
Fixed Rate / STD Fixed Rate / Mobile Rates are charged on a 30-sec charging block.

Q: What are the available add-on services that come with P1 Voice plans?
If you register for the Classic or P0 plan, you will get the P1 Voice VAS [Value Added Services] Gold Package for FREE,
which includes; CLIP [Calling Line Identification Presentation], Last Number Redial, Call Return and Call Forwarding.

If you register for the P30 or P50 plan, you will get the P1 VAS Platinum Packages which consists of CLIR [Calling Line Identification Restriction],
3-Party Call, Call Holding, Call Waiting, Voicemail for FREE on top of all the features found in the VAS Gold Package.

Q: Will I be able to use my VAS features right away or do I need to activate them first?
You can start using all the features in the P1 VAS Gold Package immediately except for Call Forwarding.
The call forwarding feature requires you to configure your personalised settings via P1 Self-Care.

Q: If both my P1 W1MAX broadband and P1 Voice services are not on, can I use Call Forwarding?
Yes, you can once you have activated your Call Forwarding feature in your Self Care page at www.p1.com.my

Q: How can I activate or deactivate my VAS features?
You can activate/deactivate your VAS features online via our Self Care portal or via service codes which can be dialled via your telephone.
The Service Code Guide is available for your reference in your Self Care page at www.p1.com.my

Q: How many Friends and Family numbers do I get?
For P30 and P50 subscribers, you will get a maximum of 10 Friends and Family numbers that are only applicable to P1 numbers.
Calls to these numbers are FREE.

Note: Friends and Family numbers are not available for the P0 and Classic plans.

Q: Can I use P1 Voice to receive or send faxes if I connect a fax machine to either the P1 Gateway or DV-230 modem?
No, you cannot.

Q: What are the types of subscriptions available?
There are 2 P1 WIMAX Voice subscriptions available:

- For existing P1 W1MAX subscribers with a DS-300 or DV-230 modem
- For new P1 W1MAX subscribers

Q: How can I register if I am a new customer?
You can visit any of our P1 Resellers to register for a P1 W1MAX subscription with P1 Voice enabled or swing by the P1 P@ddock

Q: What supporting documents do I need to register for P1 W1MAX and P1 Voice?
You only need to prepare a photocopy of your IC if it is your first time registering to P1 W1MAX and P1 Voice. But if you are an
existing P1 W1MAX subscriber with either DV-230 or DS-300 modem, you don’t need any supporting documents to register.

Q: How can I upgrade my P0 Standard 0-month contract plan to the new P30 or P50 0-month contract plans?
Swing by the P1 P@ddock or call the P1 Careline at 1300-800-888* for further enquiries and on-the-spot subscriptions.

Q: Will I be charged for the upgrade?
No, you won’t. It’s FREE!

Q: Can I downgrade the plan that I am on and what are the charges?
Yes, you can. A fee of RM5 will be imposed for each downgrade request that you make. You can swing by the P1 P@ddock or call
the P1 Careline at 1300-800-888* to do the downgrade. The RM5 downgrade fee will be included in your next bill.

Q: What is the interval of each plan transition?
You can only make a plan transition 1 month after your previous plan transition.

Q: If I am a current customer with either a P30 or P50 12-month contract plan, how can I upgrade to the new
P30 or P50 0 month contract plan?

No upgrade is required for existing P1 Voice P30 or P50 customers as you will be automatically upgraded to enjoy the benefits of
the new P30 or P50 plan. A notification will be sent to you a few days prior to inform you.

Q: How can I change my P1 Voice number, what are the costs and where I can changes?
You can change your P1 Voice number via Number Swap or Number Relocation. Number Swap will be charged RM10. Number
Relocation will be charged RM10.
You can perform these changes via walk-in at the P1 P@ddock or call the P1 Careline at 1300-800-888*

Q: What is Number Swap?
Number Swap allows you to change your P1 Voice number within the same service area, i.e. 03-8800 0001 to 03-88000 3456.
You are allowed a maximum of three (3) changes but number swapping can only be done 1 month after the first successful swap.

Q: What is Number Relocation?
Number Relocation allows you to change your P1 Voice number to another location, i.e. 03-8800 0001 to 03-2030 3456
or 03-8800 0001 to 07-456 0001. You are allowed unlimited changes but number relocation can only be done 1 month after the
first successful change.

Q: Where can I cancel or terminate my P1 Voice service?
You can only terminate your service via a walk-in visit to the P1 P@ddock.

Q: Is there a COP [Cooling Off Period] for my P1 Voice service?
No, there is no COP. However P30 or P50 customers who are entitled to the Free Dect Phone will be bound to a minimum stay of 3 months.
There is no COP for P0 plan. However your subscription will be automatically terminated if there is no first call made within the first 30 days after a
successful P1 Wimax activation and will be considered as an inactive service.

Q: Will I be charged if I cancel/terminate my P1 Voice service within the COP?
No, you won’t. However, you will be required to return all the devices that was supplied to you and you will also be required to clear
your outstanding bills (if any).

Q: Is there a penalty for cancelling/terminating my P1 Voice subscription after the COP but within the minimum stay of 3 months?
The Early Termination penalty only applies to subscribers of the P30/P50 plans and also to the 1st 1,000 customers who received the free
Panasonic DECT Phone. They will be charged a penalty fee of RM100 should they terminate within the 3-month stay period and will be required
to clear all outstanding bills (if any). Recipients of the free Panasonic DECT Phone will still be able to keep the phone.

Q: Where can I find out more about P1 Voice services?

P0 Promotion, Term & Condition

  1. The P1 Voice Service is brought to you by Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd [P1].
  2. The P1 Voice Service is open to P1 W1iMAX Fixed Broadband subscribers who are:
    1. Malaysian residents a with valid MyCard or
    2. Non-Residents with a valid Passport
    3. Subscribers with a valid addresses located withiin Malaysia
  3. Each Subscriber of the P1 W1iMAX Fixed Broadband service will be automatically be given a P1 P0 Voice Plan under P1 Voice Service and this plan is only valid for 2 months only effective from the datey of activation. The Validity period may be extended at P1’s discretion.
  4. The Subscriber may terminate the P1 Voice Service at any time prior to the 2 months validity period without any penalty incurred. However, the Subscriber will be required to pay all outstanding balance to P1 for the P1 Voice Service (if any).
  5. Each Subscriber has the option of maintaining the P1 P0 Voice Plan and Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has the right to migrate the Subscriber to any standard voice plan available at that period or terminate the P1 Voice Service upon reaching its validity period.
  6. Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Subscriber’s participation in the P1 Voice Service due to but not limited to the following reasons:
    1. Breach of the P1 Voice Service Terms & Conditions and / or the P1 W1MAX Broadband Terms and Conditions.
    2. Breach of any Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Services Terms and Conditions.
    3. Termination of any Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Services.
    4. Subscriber providing misleading information or makes any misrepresentations to Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in connection with the P1 Voice Service.
    5. Subscriber abuses any privilege accorded to the P1 Voice Service.
    6. Subscriber engages in any fraudulent activities under the P1 Voice Service.
    7. Any other circumstances as determined by Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
  7. In addition to these terms and conditions, the P1 Voice Service and P1 W1MAX Terms & Conditions shall apply. Please refer to www.p1.com.my for the P1 Terms & Conditions. All such terms and conditions, guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.
  8. All or any part of the P1 Voice Service may be modified, withdrawn or supplemented by Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (including cancelling or discontinuing the Service, in part or in whole) at any time without any prior notice to the Subscribers. The Subscribers are advised to constantly review these Terms and Conditions uploaded in the P1 website (in the event of any amendments made to these terms and conditions). In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions of the P1 Voice Service, the Terms and Conditions uploaded in the P1 website for the P1 Voice Service, the Terms and Conditions referred to herein, the Terms and Conditions in the P1 website shall prevail.
  9. Participation in this Service shall be deemed to be the Subscriber’s acceptance and acknowledgement to be bounded by the terms and conditions herein.

Terms & Conditions

  • Minimum subscription period for this package is twenty four (24) months (“Minimum Subscription Period”).
  • Other services such as Voice Plan, Custom Email Address and BBphone will be registered only when the Business Broadband is activated.
  • In the event the Customer terminates this package, the Customer is liable to pay a termination fee of RM700.00.
  • For Office in a Box self installed:
    • Auto account activation is seven (7) days from the date of registration for self collection and ten (10) days for courier delivery.
    • RM88 installation fee is applicable only if installation assistance is required.
    • For account activation, SMS to STXACTV <space> Login ID and send to 33535 three (3) days after registration. Each reply message from TM will be charged RM0.30 to the Customer’s mobile phone postpaid account or deducted from their prepaid balance. Telco SMS charges for each message sent are charged separately.
    • The mobile number used must match the mobile number written in the registration form. Customer may use another mobile number if a personal one is not available.
  • The first bill received will include the following fees:
    • RM75 for activation; and (if applicable)
    • RM88 for installation (if applicable).
    • First and second month advanced subscription fee
    • RM 10 for stamp duty fee.
  • Voice Plan:
    • Upon acceptance or approval of this application/subscription, the Voice Plan will take effect on the next billing period.
    • The Voice Plan is only compatible with IDD call plans.
    • Prior to subscription to this package, the Customer shall first terminate the existing call plan and be liable to the terms and conditions of the existing call plan.
    • Upon subscription to the Office in a Box, any existing call plan will be replaced with the Voice Plan associated with this Office in a Box package. This package is applicable for business Customer only.
  • Custom Email Address:
    • Preferred domain name is subject to availability.
    • No upgrade and downgrade is allowed.
  • BBPhone:
    • In the event the Customer terminates this Package before the Minimum Subscription Period, the Customer shall be liable to pay the rental for the unused portion of the BBphone service(s) for the remaining period of the Minimum Subscription Period.
    • The Customer shall not use the BBphone service(s) in any manner which in the opinion of TM may adversely affect the BBphone service(s) of other customers or the efficiency or security of BBphone service(s) as a whole.

  • This is a bundle package for broadband and voice call plan except for 384kbps speed.
  • For broadband, the package offering is Streamyx Combo starting from 384kbps until 4Mbps speed.
  • Streamyx Combo 384kbps comes together with WIRED Modem and add-on RM10 voice plan which is optional to the customers plus FREE Aztech DECT Cordless Phone.
  • Streamyx Combo 512kbps until 4Mbps will be inclusive of voice call plan, Wifi modem and comes with FREE Panasonic DECT Phone (512kbps gets Aztech DECT Cordless Phone).
  • Customers will enjoy Call Plan offerings as below:
    • FREE Fixed to Fixed Call Nationwide.
    • Cheaper Fixed to Mobile Rate depending on speed.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Speed of service is on ‘best effort’ basis with 24/7 broadband.
  • Speed is subject to availability and technical testing.
  • For NEW and EXISTING customers.
  • This special package valid for SUCCESSFUL Streamyx Installation and activation only. The Homeline subscription before the said event is treated separately and subject to TM Homeline Terms & Conditions.
  • The minimum subscription period is 12 MONTHS.
  • If customer terminate within the minimum subscription period,  RM350 for administration fee will be charged.
  • Modem warranty is for 12 months.

  • For customers with existing call plan with Voice 10, Voice 28 or ANY other call plan will be terminated automatically by system and start enjoying new call plan upon successful registration.
  • Zero Entry Cost for Streamyx service:
    • Waived activation of RM75.
    • Installation of RM88 (0 Entry Cost) for Streamyx Combo.
  • For New TM Homeline:
    • Connection fee of RM50 for new TM Homeline will be excluded.
    • Deposit fee of RM75 will be be charged for TM Homeline.
    • Internal wiring for TM Homeline is chargeable (RM30 – RM50).
  • DECT Phone:
    • Applicable for New Installation and Upgrade only.
    • Migration to same speed will NOT be receiving Free DECT Phone.

Bill Presentment:

  1. What is the Upgrade Incentive Package?
    1. Upgrade Incentive package is the promotion for existing Streamyx customers that offers special price if customers upgrade their package to the higher speed.
    2. Customer can enjoy FREE upgrade for 4 months and pay additional minimal fee on top of the current monthly fee from 5th month onwards.
  2. Who is eligible to enjoy this package?
    1. Existing Streamyx customers who have served at least 1 year period.
    2. The special incentive is valid for UPGRADE application only & it is not applicable for downgrade application to lower speed.
  3. What is the detail offering of Upgrade Incentive?
    1. For customers upgrading to the next speed, the additional fee of RM5 or RM10 will be added on top of current fee from 5th months onwards.
    2. For customers requested for jump speed upgrade (e.g. 384k to 1M), the minimum additional fee will be charged from 1st month onwards. However, for standard packages (apart from Streamyx Combo) upgrading to 4M, the new price will be effective from 1st month onwards.
  4. How long will the promotion be available?

    1. NO. Upgrade Incentive package is only allowed lateral upgrade only (e.g Standard package to Standard package, Streamyx Wi-Fi @ Home to Streamyx Wi-Fi @ Home).
    2. But if customer insist, they need to migrate to Streamyx Wi-Fi @ Home package within the same speed as per normal process before upgrade to Special Upgrade Incentive package.
  8. I’m existing 384k @ RM20 limited hours package, can I upgrade to Upgrade Incentive package?
    1. You are not allowed to upgrade.
    2. But if you insist, the new price will follow the Upgrade Incentive table.
  9. I’m existing Broadband PC customer, can I enjoy this offer?
    1. You can enjoy this offer only if you have exceeded 24 months of BBPC contract period.
  10. I’m existing Home, Hop & Away package (HHA) customer, can I enjoy this offer?
    1. You can enjoy this offer only if you have exceeded 18 months of HHA contract period.

    1. No new modem will be given to customer.

  14. How is my billing charge after I enjoy this offer?
    1. For the first 4 months, customers will be billed on the same charges as per previous package.
    2. On the 5th month’s bill, customer will be charged additional RM5 or RM10 on top of current charges accordingly.

‘Streamyx Combo Smart Savers Plan’ was launched on 14th September 2009. This package offers more saving to new customers if subscribed for longer period instead of normal service subscription of 12 months. Customers have an option to choose either 2 or 3 years service subscription and enjoy more value for money.
